A.F.G.P. Associazione Formazione Giovanni Piamarta is a non-profit association whose aim is to carry out education and training activities with a special focus on young people and workers, taking care of their human growth and professional elevation.
The A.F.G.P. was established in 1992 and continues the training activities carried out by the Congregation of St John Baptist Piamarta, founded in 1886 in Brescia.
A.F.G.P. has delivered training and education courses authorised and financed by the Ministry of Labour, the Lombardy Region and the European Social Fund.
All A.F.G.P. Centres are accredited to provide Training and Employment Services.
A.F.G.P. runs Vocational Education and Training Courses in the mechanical, electrical, graphics, floriculture, hotel, administrative/secretarial and health sectors, for young people in compulsory education; Higher Education Courses, for diploma holders and graduates; Continuing and Permanent Training Courses, for employed, unemployed and unemployable persons.
As a result of this long experience, A.F.G.P. has developed relationships and collaborations with schools, companies, institutions and trade associations, which guarantee reliability and competence.
A.F.G.P. operates through three branches distributed throughout Lombardy.
It is also a member of Scuola Centrale Formazione, an association that operates at a national and international level in the field of vocational training and transition to work with the aim of promoting sharing, exchanging experiences and qualifying the operators of its network of member organisations, proposing experiments and offering services in response to the needs identified by the member organisations.
